Episode 2 - Legaci

What If It Works?

The Music Playbook: Episode 2 ft. Legaci

A lot of conversations around music focus on the success stories after they happen. But what about the stage before the breakthrough?

For Episode 2 of The Music Playbook, I sat down with independent artist Legaci for a conversation about what it really feels like to still be building in real time while balancing creativity, consistency, life, and self-growth.

We talked about:

  • learning to become more comfortable creating content for social media

  • the pressure artists feel to constantly stay visible online

  • staying motivated during slower periods of growth

  • balancing music with fatherhood and everyday responsibilities

  • and building a deeper connection with listeners beyond just the music itself

Authenticity. Rather than creating a persona, Legaci spoke about wanting people to understand who he is outside of the music and how that mindset has started shaping the way he approaches content and creativity.

We also cover Crawford, his comic book project inspired by the storytelling universe connected to his music. Hearing him talk about expanding his creativity beyond music added a completely different layer to the episode and showed how artists today are becoming much more than just musicians.

The Music Playbook is all about honest conversations. No pretending things are perfect. No overnight success story. Just a real discussion about continuing to create even while still figuring things out along the way.

And honestly, I think that’s something a lot of creatives can relate to.
